description The research study examined HCCLs funding policy. The study was motivated by numerous cases when HCCL was let down by its lenders due to funding costs non compliance. HCCL received countless final warning documents from debt collectors and financial institutions. Related literature was reviewed to strengthen the thrust of the study. Descriptive approaches with a sample size of thirty five questionnaires and five interviews were used in gathering primary and secondary data. Tables, graphs and charts were used in presenting collected data. The research showed that HCCL had implemented a funding policy which was not fully complied with. The study recommended that HCCL should adhere to its policy proclamations with financial institutions. HCCL should reduce financial constraints by replacing short term borrowings with long term borrowings.
