The chapter argues that digital dividends are key to developing countries as they have helped break the digital divide that has been there for so long. Nevertheless, the findings reveal that some marginalized communities exist in developing countries like Zimbabwe, especially semi-urban and rural communities. Zimbabwe is yet to strengthen the pillars of digital transformation. The chapter recommends that the government and regulators consider taking the outside-in strategy to narrow the digital divide in the country. 123 139 2023-03-21T15:20:57Z 2023-03-21T15:20:57Z 2022 book part https://cris.library.msu.ac.zw//handle/11408/5420 10.4018/978-1-6684-3901-2.ch006 en Digital Transformation for Promoting Inclusiveness in Marginalized Communities 9781668439012 open IGI Global |
